Bryan Larson

Bryan Larson was MIAA MVP in 1992. That season, he also earned ABCA All-America accolades, while banging out school records with 92 hits and a 28-game hitting streak. Southern finished 44-13 in '92 and made its second straight Division II World Series appearance. Larson batted .428 in ‘92, scoring 63 runs.

Larson's 1991 campaign may have been even better. The two-year letterwinner posted school records with 28 doubles, 76 RBI and 10 sacrifice flies while helping the Lions to an NCAA-II national runner-up finish and a 48-13 ledger. He had 81 hits and scored 61 runs while posting a .711 slugging percentage.

Larson's .420 career batting average is a Southern record. He was a two-time first-team all-conference performer.
