Renee Livell Heidger
Heidger was an All-American softball player for the Lady Lions of Coach Pat Lipira. A first-team NAIA selection in 1986, Livell-Heidger helped lead the Lady Lions to a 44-13 record and a fourth-place finish at the NAIA National Tournament.
She was named to the All-CSIC and All-District 16 first teams both her junior and senior years. As a senior, Heidger was named Missouri Southern’s outstanding defensive player and the national tournament’s outstanding shortstop.
At the time of her induction, Heidger was a teacher and coach at Linn (Mo.) High School.
