Dalana (Lofland) Rutledge

Rutledge was an All-American sprinter for the Lions in the mid 90's. An All-MIAA selection in each of her seasons, Rutledge was an All-American in 1998 after helping the 4x100m relay team to a third place finish, running the lead leg of the race.

A 1998 graduate in accounting from Southern, Rutledge was a national qualifier in the 1998 outdoor meet in the 200m, 400m and 4x100m relay, while qualifying in the 800m indoor run earlier that year. She finished in seventh place in the 800m that season which would have been an All-American performance now, but at the time, only the top six places earned AA status.

She holds the Missouri Southern record in the indoor 800m run on a flat track with a time of 2:14.22 and is third on the all-time best list in the indoor 600 yard run. She also holds the school record in the outdoor 200m dash with a time of 24.14 and is fifth best on the outdoor 400m list.

A three-time member of the MIAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll, Rutledge is currently an accountant for the Wyandotte Tribe in Wyandotte, Oklahoma. She is married to Mike Rutledge and the couple have two children (Devan and Angelina).
