Rick Ham

Ham, a native of Joplin, played defensive end for the Lions from 1974-77. He moved into the starting lineup late in his junior season and was a fixture there as a senior. He sacked the quarterback eight times during the 1976 season.

Since earning his degree, Ham has been active in promoting the Missouri Southern Football Alumni Association. He has been a tireless worker for the alumni group, serving on the board of directors and as president of the association. He continues to take an active role in the association’s business and has been named the meritorious service award winner for 2000.
